Early Retirement Age pensionists to get new Social Security check up to $4,555

In January, the Social Security Administration will send new checks of up to $4,555 to United States aged retirees

Next benefit payment will arrive to only a group of americans - CANVA

Social Security retirement checks will begin arriving very soon in 2023 to pensioners in the United States. Any senior with an accepted benefit will be able to enjoy one of these checks in as little as a week. However, not all retirees will be able to receive the first of these payments of the year. The Social Security Administration sends different payments to different groups. So only one group of retirees may receive this pension payment in just a few days.

The first Social Security retirement benefit payment will be on January 11. The retirees who will receive this payment are those born between the 1st and 10th of the month. This means that the rest of the retirees will receive their benefit on one of the following Wednesdays, January 18 or 25. The exact day will depend on the retiree’s date of birth.

It should be remembered, to avoid problems and misunderstandings, that the only thing that affects the day on which a retiree receives his or her payment is the day of birth. Thus, the month and year of birth are not so important when it comes to collecting the benefit. This means that a retiree who was born in January can collect his or her benefit in March, April and September. The same is true for the year. The only important data, therefore, is the day of the month.

In addition to these payments, SSA will also send the Supplemental Security Income check to U.S. citizens with this payment. This payment is always on the 1st, except for months when the 1st is a holiday or weekend. In these cases, the Social Security Administration sends this additional payment on the immediately preceding business day.
