Throughout the United States, a new month always means a new payment of Social Security benefits. Receiving this check earlier or later depends on some factors related to the beneficiary himself. Thus, any of the citizens can know in advance on which day the Social Security Administration will send their checks with the retirement amount.
In this regard, it should also be noted that each of the Social Security payments is totally different. This means that each citizen receives an individual retirement check. The amount will vary depending on one’s work history and retirement age. However, regardless of the dollar amount a citizen receives, they can know when they will receive their benefit.
To all this we have to add that the day of payment does not depend on the amount received. In other words, we can know on which day we will receive our Social Security payment, but this day does not depend directly on how many dollars we are allotted for each check. The important information to determine the day of payment is the year of retirement and the day of birth.
Who receives the next Social Security payment of up to $4,555?
The next of the Social Security checks will arrive only for a group of retirees. This group, in turn, is within the second group of beneficiaries. The first group to receive their retirement check is the pre-1997 beneficiaries. The second group is made up of beneficiaries who have a retirement benefit after 1997.
In addition to this, it is also good to remember that it does not matter what type of retirement we have. So, whether it is an age retirement or a disability retirement. Likewise, a survivor benefit will arrive on the same day if you meet the requirements.
Within the beneficiaries retired after 1997 there are three different groups. Of those three groups, the Social Security Administration will send check to only one of them. The first of these groups is the next group to receive a check. To receive this check, retirees must have their birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month.
More retirement payments in June
In addition to this upcoming June 14th payment, the Social Security Administration will send out three other payments. Still, one of these checks is not for retirees exclusively, as it is Supplemental Security Income.
After the next payment, the SSA will send the following checks:
- June 21st. Social Security payment for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month.
- June 28th. Retirees born between the 21st and 31st of the month are paid on this day.
Remember that these two groups need to have applied for Social Security after 1997. Otherwise, the date of birth does not matter, since the day of payment will be a different day.
In addition to these two payments, there is an extra payment on June 30th. This other payment is the Supplemental Security Income for the month of July. The check for this payment is advanced due to an irregularity in the calendar.
