The Social Security Administration’s new payments for United States disability beneficiaries are on their way. This means that in the next few weeks, eligible citizens will be able to enjoy a check for up to $3,627 in Social Security disability benefits.
If you want to know if the Administration will send you the next of the disability checks you need to take a good look at the payment schedule. Each new group receives a Social Security check on a different day. In the next few weeks the Administration will send up to 3 different checks to these groups of retirees.
In addition to that check, the Administration will also send an extra check during the days of June. This other extra check could go to disability beneficiaries and other different groups. So if you have Supplemental Security Income you could have up to two different checks in the next few days.
If you have the previously accepted benefit you can be assured that you will receive a benefit soon. After that, the other extra check you may or may not receive depending on different criteria. If you check the calendar, you will know for sure.
When will Social Security send the next disability benefit?
The day the Social Security Administration will send out the new benefit check is June 14th. This collection day is the first day for beneficiaries who applied for their benefit after 1997. Therefore, not having the benefit since before 1997 is the first requirement to cash this new check in just one week.
On the other hand, the second requirement is related to the birthday. In order to have the next disability check, it is mandatory to have been born between the 1st and 10th of the month. This is because the Administration divides retirees after 1997 into three different groups. These groups are configured on the basis of the day of birth.
Although many citizens think that the year of birth influences the day of the Social Security disability payment, this is not the case. The year of birth never indicates on what day of the month we will collect our retirement check. Only the day is the important element.
Complete June Retirement Payment Schedule
Whether we have disability check or age retirement check, the calendar is the same. Therefore, these are the days with all the payments on which the Administration will send checks in June.
- June 1st. June Supplemental Security Income payment.
- June 2nd. Disability benefit check for pre-1997 beneficiaries.
- June 14th. Post-1997 retirees with birthdays between 1-10 of the month receive their benefit.
- June 21st. Any citizen with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month with post-1997 retirement receives their check on this day.
- June 28th. This collection day is for post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of the month.
- June 30th. On this day, the Administration advances the July Supplemental Security Income. This payment for users with disabilities and those over 65 years of age arrives earlier because July 1st is a weekend.
In the event that your benefit has already passed and you have not received it, you should claim the payment. You can always contact your bank first to ask what is happening with your disability check. If the bank is unable to help you, you can always contact the Social Security Administration.
