Social Security users in the United States who have an accepted benefit could receive a new check in just a few days. Meeting one requirement is enough to land one of these new Social Security payments in your pocket. Retirement benefit dollars will reach all types of retirees. So it doesn’t matter whether the SSA benefit is for orphan, age retirement or disability.
In these cases, the only thing that really matters for receiving the check is the day of birth. And it does not matter the date of birth in total, but only the day of the month. In this way, there are always three different groups that receive their benefit on three different days. Knowing which group each beneficiary belongs to is very easy and you only have to check the calendar and the date of birth.
Since all Social Security beneficiaries with a birthday on a particular date receive the next check, it is good to have control over this. So whether you have a retirement benefit, disability or any other reason, the check could come to you in the next few days. Do you belong to the group of retirees who will receive Social Security in the next few days?
Who receives the next Social Security check?
Users born between the 11th and 20th of the month will receive the next Social Security check. It does not matter the date of birth or the reason for retirement. This check will reach the pocket of your beneficiaries regardless of these conditions. The only condition that matters is the exact day of birth.
This is not the only payment there is in January from the Social Security retirement check. In addition to this, there are other payments that retirees could receive in the following weeks. It should be noted that each retiree can only receive one monthly check from SSA in either the second, third or fourth week.
Other SSA Payments in January
The Social Security Administration sends out January payments on the following days:
- January 11th. The first payment of the month. This payment is for retirees born between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- January 18th. Second payment of the month. This payment is made by Social Security to retirees born between the 11th and 20th of any month of the year.
- January 25th. Third and last payment of the first month of the year. This payment is for retirees born between the 21st and 31st of the year.
Remember that it does not matter what month of the year a retiree was born. The only important thing in determining the date of the Social Security payment is the day of the month.
