Social Security Disability benefits next paycheck will not arrive to these groups of americans

The United States Social Security Administration has announced the day on which disability retirees will receive the first cheque of February. As happens every month, during the month of February Social Security will pay pensions on three different days. Thanks to this system, sending the payments is not saturated and it is more convenient for the administration.

It is very easy to find out on which day the Social Security Administration will send us our cheque. To do so, we must control only two fundamental aspects. On the one hand, we have to know the Social Security calendar itself. In this sense, the SSA sends checks for pension payments on the second, third and fourth Wednesday of the month.

On the other hand, we have to take into account another aspect, which is the date of the birthday. Depending on the retiree’s birthday, he or she will cash his or her cheque on one day or another. The Social Security Administration divides retirees into three different groups: born between the 1st and 10th, between the 11th and 20th, and between the 21st and 31st.

Who collects the next Social Security check?

As we have already discussed, the next group of users to collect the next Social Security check is those born between the 1st and 10th. This is the first group of the month and it does not matter the type of retirement. Any user born between these days who has an accepted benefit cheque will be able to collect the money on the second Wednesday in January.

So if you have a Social Security benefit for retirement, widowhood, disability or any other reason, you just have to have the birthday between the first ten days of the month. And you don’t have to be born in the same month. Retirees born in October collect cheques for every month of the year, as do those born in February or December.

When is the next retirement payment?

Once the January payment schedule is over, we will have to wait until February to cash one of the Social Security checks again. The next of the payments will be, therefore, on the 8th day of January. This means that the first group of retirees born on the 1st-10th of the month will receive their benefits on that day.

The cheque will be cashed immediately if the retiree has Direct Deposit activated. On the other hand, if the retiree receives the cheque by direct deposit, it may take up to 3 days for the benefit to appear.

Finally, the rest of the group of retirees will also receive their cheques in February, but on the third and fourth Wednesday of the month. On these days, Social Security will make payments to retirees born between the 11th-20th and 21st-31st, respectively.
