The November payment days for Social Security disability retirees have now been announced. This means that any United States citizen with a disability benefit can find out the day they will receive their pension. But not only disability retirees, but also any retiree who meets a particular requirement.
To receive the subsidy on the upcoming 9th day of November, you must have an accepted benefit and be born between the 1st and 10th of the month. By meeting those two requirements, you will have your Social Security benefit in your pocket. The other requirement is obvious, since without an accepted benefit you will not have a benefit to receive.
Thus, all Social Security retirees know that next November 9th they will have their payment if they have a birthday between the 1st and 10th. For the rest of the retirees there are two other payment days, on the 16th and 23rd of November. These payment days are for retirees born between the 11th and 20th and between the 21st and 31st, respectively.
How to receive Social Security quickly?
If you are thinking of receiving your Social Security disability benefit quickly, using Direct Deposit is the best method. Despite this, it is not the only method you can use to collect the pension. Here are the two most common methods.
- Bank account. With a bank account you can get your Social Security benefit. The problem with this method is that it can take up to 3 days, since the SSA sends the money and the bank has to receive it and add it to your bank account.
- Direct Deposit. The fastest and most direct method. You will get your Social Security benefit immediately. You won’t have to wait to start using your money. Plus, it’s the same as using a debit card, so you can pay for anything with Direct Deposit.
You don’t need a bank account to have a Direct Deposit account, so it’s all advantages with this method.
Other SSA Payments in 2023
There are other Social Security payments in this year 2023. If in November the payment days are the 9th, 16th, and 23rd, we can say that they are the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays of the month. This structure is repeated, except for the payments related to Supplemental Security Income, as they are on the 1st day of each month.
So in the month of December we will have payments on the 14th, 21st and 28th. As in every month, these days are the second, third and fourth Wednesday of the month. To these payments must be added the 1st day for SSI and the 30th day for January SSI, since Social Security does not send SSI payments on weekends or holidays.
