The United States SSDI benefit check will again reach group 1 beneficiaries. But to be part of this group it is necessary to meet several requirements. So if we do not meet one essential and one additional requirement we will not be able to have the next payment as soon as Social Security sends it.
The check in question will arrive on the 3rd day of June. This payment has a mandatory requirement that we cannot skip. So if we keep that in mind, we should take a good look at the payment schedule. Those who do not have this in mind will not be able to know if they have the payment on this day or not.
Requirements for the new June SSDI payment
The Social Security Administration determines SSDI payments on different days of the month. In total, beneficiaries can get a check from four different ones sent by the Administration. And knowing the exact collection days is really important for good monthly financial organization.
As is always the case, the first of the June payments is for group 1 beneficiaries. This group is made up of retirees with a benefit prior to May 1997. Thus, if you have a benefit from before that date you have access to this day’s check.
And in addition to that we find a second requirement to be able to have the payment on the same day of mailing. Only if your payment is prior to May 1997 and you activate Direct Deposit will you be able to enjoy SSDI on the same day that the Administration sends it.
What is the maximum June 2024 SSDI check?
Each retirement benefit category has a different maximum check. So if you have an age-based retirement benefit your payment could be higher than the SSDI payment. Still, the truth is that each beneficiary has a different payment regardless of the type of benefit.
So on the 3rd day of June you can receive a maximum SSDI check of $3,822. But if your payment is an age retirement payment, the figure can be as high as $4,873, which is $1,000 more.
However, the benefit category has no bearing on payday. So if your check is age-based you can also receive it next June 3rd. Whether you have SSDI or any other type of benefit, meeting the above condition is enough.
