In the United States, Payments from the Social Security Administration always arrive in a timely manner to users who have a benefit. These users can be either those related to the subsidy of retirement payments or those related to Supplemental Security Income. In the latter case, the first of each month is the day on which the Social Security Administration sends the payments. These payments always arrive on the same day if the pensioner has activated Direct Deposit. However, it may take up to 3 days if the pensioner receives his benefit to a bank account. In any case, the Social Security Administration always sends the money on the same day.

However, it is possible that the day the Supplemental Security Income is sent may be different in some months. If the 1st of the month is a weekend or holiday, the payment is sent on the immediately preceding business day. In the case of November, there is no delay since the 1st of the month is a business day. This was not the case in October, as the first day was a weekend, so the Social Security sent the money for this benefit on the 30th day of September. In this case, this is the fairest solution to be able to receive the money as soon as possible.

So if you have the Supplemental Security Income benefit from Social Security, you will receive it tomorrow if you have Direct Deposit activated. Otherwise, it can take up to 3 days for the money to reach your bank account. Regardless of which payment method you choose, you can soon have the money in your pocket to start using it for whatever you need.
