Can I Draw Social Security at 62 and Still Work Full Time?

What do you do if Social Security tells you to pay back benefits you have already received?

62 years-old seniors are not getting next SSI check

Payments from the Social Security Administration of the United States follow a schedule so that all retirees can know the day of payment. This gives the family economy a little more stability. When beneficiaries know exactly what day they will get their money, they can organize themselves more easily. With this in mind, we found that it is much better to know the payment schedule for November. This way retirees can know the day on which they will collect their benefits in the coming month. Even so, we must also consider that in the month of November there is one more payment day than in October.

This is because November 1 is neither a weekend nor a holiday. Therefore, the Supplemental Security Income payment will be made on the 1st of the month. Unlike October, since in this current month the SSI payment did not occur. The October SSI payment occurred on the last working day of September. That is why in October we have only had 3 days of payment, something strange in the months where Social Security sends the money to retirees. Therefore, we are in luck, since in November there are no changes in the schedule of payments, something comforting for seniors.

On the other hand, it should also be noted that this first payment from Social Security in November is not for everyone. Only low-income Social Security beneficiaries are eligible for this payment. If you want to know if you are eligible for this benefit, you can check using the BEST tool. This tool not only tells you if you can get SSI, but any other benefits that the Social Security Administration has.

Social Security Payments in November

Social Security payments in November are divided into four separate days. One of those days is for SSI recipients. On the other hand, we also have the usual payments for retirement or disability benefits. Here is the schedule of the exact days:

  • November 1. Supplemental Security Income payment. This payment is only for beneficiaries who have SSI accepted.
  • November 9. Beneficiaries with a Social Security benefit born between the 1st and 10th of the month may receive payment on this day.
  • November 16. Third Wednesday of the month. On this day, beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th of the month will receive their benefit.
  • November 23. Last payment day of the month. The benefit may arrive on this day for beneficiaries born between the 21st and 31st of the month.

Payments may take up to 3 days to appear in the bank account, unless Direct Deposit is activated. This method is free of charge and also ensures that we receive our Social Security payment on the same day it is sent.
