Some United States citizens may receive the first of the August Social Security payments in a few hours. This payment is not for all beneficiaries, as it is only for a group of beneficiaries. In order to receive one of these checks it is necessary to meet several requirements.
In addition to that, it is also mandatory to have this benefit accepted in advance. Americans who do not have this check accepted at least one month in advance will not be able to receive a check from Social Security on August 1st. This payment is not a pensioner’s pension.
The payment we are talking about is the August Supplemental Security Income. This check will arrive on the 1st of the month for retirees who have this benefit accepted. So, if you are expecting to receive the payment soon you can count on it.
Since August 1st is not a weekend or a holiday, the payment arrives regularly to your beneficiaries. However, if we do not activate the most appropriate collection method, we will not be able to get this money from Social Security so soon.
Who will receive the next Social Security?
The payment is only for Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries, as we have already mentioned. However, those citizens who do not have Direct Deposit activated will not be able to receive the money on the same day it is sent.
In order to receive this check on the 1st of August, it is mandatory to activate this method of payment. Beneficiaries who receive the money by direct deposit will also receive the money, but the check may take up to 3 days to arrive.
In addition to this check, Social Security will send 4 other different payments to United States retirees. Each citizen will receive one of these payments and Supplemental Security Income, if they have this other benefit as well.
August 2023 SSA Payment Schedule
