Are you not a beneficiary of the next Social Security payment in the United States? If you’re in doubt and don’t know when you’ll get your payment, we’ll tell you when it’s your turn based on your date of birth.
Social Security checks arrive every month to Americans with an accepted benefit. However, there are certain exceptions that cause many Americans to miss out on benefits and are excluded from the eligibility list.
Social Security is a type of benefit for many different groups of Americans. Citizens with a disability can purchase one of these checks, as can retirees age 62 and older.
Still, these two requirements in no way influence the day of cashing. If you are on the eligibility list, you will be able to cash a check in the next few days. If not, you will have to wait for another collection day.
In general, beneficiaries get one Social Security check per month. While it is true that some may get more checks because they have Supplemental Security Income, the pension payment is one every month. But it is very important to know on what day the Administration sends the payments.
SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENTS BY DATE OF BIRTH
Retirees who have already had their benefit accepted may be the exact day they get their Social Security check. Each retiree has a different day of the month assigned to them, so by checking the calendar we will be able to discover this information.
Best of all, the requirements are pretty straightforward. Just by knowing the day of birth, as well as the date of retirement, we will be able to find out our payday.
These are the collection days for the month of September:
- September 1st. Collection day for retirees prior to 1997.
- September 13th. Payment for post-1997 retirees with birthday between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- September 20th. Post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 11th and 20th may get payment on this day.
- September 27th. The post-1997 group of beneficiaries with birthdays between the 21st and 31st can get their Social Security benefit.
Therefore, two groups are excluded in the next disability or age retirement payments. On the one hand, beneficiaries with a pre-1997 benefit. On the other hand, beneficiaries with a Social Security check after 1997 and a birthday between the 1st and 10th of the month. All other retirees will receive their check on the 20th or 27th day of the month, depending on the date of the birthday.
