The timing of the Administration’s payments in the United States follows an easy-to-know pattern. In this case, SSDI beneficiaries can always know on which days their pension money will be available to them. Because the Administration divides SSDI users into groups, it is very easy to know when they will receive their next check.
But this is not the only thing to keep in mind. In addition to this, you also need to know which beneficiary group an SSDI user belongs to. This is not difficult either, since we only need to know the birthday date to determine to which group one of these citizens belongs. With that information it is more than enough to be within these groups.
And since we can easily know which SSDI beneficiary will receive the next check, we can also easily know which retiree will not receive it this week. This is the great advantage of knowing the payment schedule, since it prepares us to have a good financial organization throughout the month.
Which group of SSDI retirees will not receive their next check?
Although all retirees always receive a check from Social Security every month, the Administration sends these checks on different days. Thus, any retiree may receive only one of these checks.
Knowing the schedule of payments is the best way to find out this information directly. So these are the SSDI beneficiaries who will not be able to cash a check on the next and last payday of March 2023:
- Retirees born between the 1st and 10th.
- SSDI users born between the 11th and 20th.
This is because the next of the payment days is the last day of March. And on this day, only retirees born between the 21st and 31st of the month will collect their benefit. This is the last payment for the month of March, as we have already mentioned, so after this payment we will have to wait until April to receive the next check.
When is the last Social Security payment for March?
The last of the payments to be sent by the Social Security Administration in the month of March 2023 related to retirement pensions will be on Wednesday the 22nd. This is the fourth Wednesday of the month and the last of the pension payments, but not the last check mailing for the month.
In addition to this check, the Social Security Administration will send another check on the last day of March, the 31st. On this day, any beneficiary who has a Supplemental Security Income benefit will receive their check. Those who do not have a Supplemental Security Income benefit will not receive any more checks this month.
April SSDI Calendar
We can now know the day of the April SSDI payments. In this calendar we find the specific days on which the Administration will send checks in the coming month.
It is worth noting the complete absence of the Supplemental Security Income payment, since this check will be sent on the 31st of March. So for this benefit we will have to wait until May at least. These are all the days of the April 2023 payment:
- April 12th. Social Security payment for retirees and users with disabilities born between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- April 19. Retirees born between the 11th and 20th of the month receive their retirement benefit on this day.
- April 26th. Beneficiaries with an accepted benefit born between the 21st and 31st receive a check.
It is only possible to get 1 check per person in the month of April, since the Supplemental Security Income does not exist. However, there are exceptional cases in which a retiree may receive a double check, but this will not be the norm.
Regardless of the number of checks a retiree will receive next month, what we can already say is that we have the exact date of the cashing. Having Direct Deposit activated should be enough to get the money on the same day it is sent.
