In this same week beginning March 4, 2024 thousands of United States citizens will get their new SNAP Food Stamps payment. This nine check will arrive only in some states, so we should check the list.
Also, there are some states that have already sent these checks to recipients. Some other states have not yet paid the benefit, but it is on its way. The particular thing about SNAP Food Stamps payments is that they are different in each of the States.
Thus, a California beneficiary does not get payment on the same day as a Massachusetts beneficiary. Therefore, knowing the timing of payments is key to good household organization.
If you are expecting to get your March SNAP Food Stamps, you should know that it won’t be long in coming. At least in many states. So check the payment schedule and mark the days when you might have the money available.

As you can see, not all states are on this list. The payment depends directly on the exact State in which we live. Also, some States may send SNAP Food Stamps checks until the end of the month, but they may also send it this week.
The important thing is to check our EBT card balance. Through this method we will be able to know if our State has already sent us SNAP Food Stamps check and if we have it available for use.
How can I check my EBT card balance?
As with the timing of payments, checking the balance of the EBT card depends on each state. In this sense, the truth is that when buying in a store with the EBT card it is usual that in the same receipt we find the remaining money.
Even so, it could also be that the State has a mobile application to check the status of the card. If so, we must contact the SNAP office in our state to have all the information.
Likewise, it is also possible to contact that SNAP Food Stamps office and see directly if they can tell us what our balance is. These are usually the ways to check our EBT card balance.
