One of the big differences between Social Security benefits in the United States and SNAP Food Stamps payments is the timing of when the money is sent. The two presentations have completely different schedules.
Likewise, the organization of the schedule for both payments is federal on the one hand and state on the other. This means that while Social Security follows a calendar established by the government, SNAP Food Stamps follows a calendar established by each state.
And it is because of this independent state-by-state schedule that every American gets his or her benefit on a different day. Following this payment scheme is really easy and anyone can do it.
On the other hand, it is also important to think that not all Americans in the same state get SNAP Food Stamps on the same day. Some states may send checks on different days. Thus, an American in one state may have collected this benefit and another American may not have it available yet.
