The last SNAP Food Stamps payments in May are about to reach American households. This type of benefit is only for the neediest United States citizens who meet certain requirements. But, on top of that, each State has a different schedule for payment of benefits.
Therefore, we find that in some States we do have SNAP Food Stamps money already available and others will send this payment in the next few days. It all depends on where we currently reside.
So, if you live in a State that has already sent checks, you can use your SNAP Food Stamps money at participating establishments. Otherwise, you will have to wait a few days until the money finally shows up on your EBT card balance.
