When a United States citizen begins to collect a SNAP Food Stamps payment, he or she must be aware of the timetable offered by his or her State for these checks. Each state pays Food Stamp benefits on different days. Therefore, living in one part of the United States or another determines whether we get this benefit earlier or later.
And in the next week of May, some states will send out SNAP Food Stamps so that recipients will have the money available on their EBT cards. Once the money appears on the card, the beneficiary can go to any of the participating stores and buy what they need with the benefit. However, some of these beneficiaries still have to wait.
While many States have already paid all the SNAP Food Stamps checks, some others have not yet paid all the benefits, so we must take a good look at the list to make sure there are no problems with our benefit. Also, some States on this list that we will see have already sent some payments and some checks have not.
States that may send SNAP Food Stamps in the coming week
As we mentioned, SNAP Food Stamps payments in these states are not likely to arrive in the next few days. The payment schedule for these states began almost at the beginning of May, so some states have already paid all benefits to recipients.
These states may send checks in the near future:
- Alabama: May 4 to 23
- Delaware: May 2 to 23
- Florida: May 1 to 28
- Georgia: May 5 to 23
- Indiana: May 5 to 23
- Louisiana: May 1 to 23
- Maryland: May 4 to 23
- Michigan: May 3 to 21
- Mississippi: May 4 to 21
- Missouri: May 1 to 22
- New Mexico: May 1 to 20
- North Carolina: May 3 to 21
- Ohio: May 2 to 20
- Puerto Rico: May 4 to May 22
- Tennessee: May 1 to 20
- Texas: May 1 to 28
- Washington: May 1 to 20
Remember that in order to determine if we have SNAP Food Stamps money available, what we have to do is to check the balance of the EBT card. This is the most effective way to know if we can use the money from this benefit to buy what we need at any of the participating establishments.
