Before the end of November, thousands of Social Security disability beneficiaries in the United States will be able to collect a new check. By simply belonging to groups 3 and 4, retirees will be able to get this benefit. In addition, age retirement beneficiaries will also be able to get the payment.
There are 2 mandatory requirements to be able to collect the next Social Security payment and the one after that. Each disability retiree can only collect one of these two checks. And that is because the retirement payment only comes once a month to each beneficiary. So getting it twice in the same month is impossible.
However, we can cash more than one check from the Social Security Administration, but that depends on whether we have Supplemental Security Income or not. This other check is only for the neediest Americans, so if you are eligible you can get it every month as well.
Regardless of whether we have the Supplemental Security Income payment or not the important thing is to qualify for the next disability payments. And only two groups of retirees can collect a new check in the next few weeks of November.
After these two payments we will have to wait until December to get a new one. But, for now, if we have not yet cashed our November check we should be on the lookout to see if the next check is for us.
WHO WILL GET THE NEXT SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY PAYMENTS?
The Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefit will be arriving in the next few weeks. To be exact, the remaining payments for the month of November will be on the 15th and 22nd. Each of these payments will have a different requirement. There is a common requirement and a different one, so each payment will have its restrictions.
These are the payment days and their requirements in the last weeks of November:
- November 15th. Social Security disability payment for beneficiaries with a post-1997 benefit and a birthday between the 11th and 20th of the month.
- November 22nd. Social Security beneficiaries with a post-1997 check and a birthday between the 21st and 31st of the month will get the benefit on this day.
After that we will have to wait until December, which is the last month of the year and where there are certain irregularities in the calendar. Also, choosing the right collection method can help us to get the payments as soon as possible. In the case of not doing so the money could take a little longer to arrive, although that is your own choice.
If we want to get the money on the same day we should activate Direct Deposit. This method of payment is instantaneous and we will not need to wait even one day to get the disability payment. Americans who do not activate this collection method will have to wait up to 3 days before they can use their Social Security money.
