The new retirement and Social Security Disability Insurance payment for United States citizens is getting closer and closer. Retirees with a Social Security benefit who are on the list of those eligible for the next check will be collecting within a very short time. Each new month, a new check may reach retirees’ pockets, and this check will arrive within days.
However, not all beneficiaries are eligible to receive one of these benefits. In order to collect this very week’s check, it is mandatory to comply with the established requirements. The purpose of dividing the retirees into different payments is none other than to avoid agglomerations in the mailing of the checks.
Since there is an organization in sending payments, all checks arrive on time and without problems. In addition, the system is very easy to understand, so any retiree who has the calendar will be able to know on which day he or she will receive the next check.
The Social Security Administration separates retirees into four different groups. Each of these groups has different characteristics. To be part of one of these groups, you only need to have these characteristics.
Who receives the next Social Security payment?
Only retirees who belong to the third group will receive the new benefit. The next Social Security payment will arrive in just a few hours and retirees who meet these requirements are the only ones who will receive it:
- Have a post-1997 benefit. It is mandatory that the Social Security check be after this year. Any citizen with a benefit prior to this date receives it on a different day of the month.
- Have a birthday between the 11th and 20th of the month. It is not necessary to have a birthday in a particular month. Nor is it necessary to be born in a particular year.
These are the only two requirements to receive the new payment from the Administration.
When is the next retirement check?
The next of the Social Security benefit payments will arrive on July 19th. This payment is the second to last payment of the month and is exclusively for the group of retirees named above. After this payment, beneficiaries will receive another check on the 26th, but that payment is for retirees in the other group.
Likewise, after the payment on July 26th, we will have to wait until August to receive a new check. These types of benefits can also be combined with Supplemental Security Income.
The Social Security Administration will send the August Supplemental Security Income on the 1st of the month. After that, it will pay retiree benefits on the 3rd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd of August. The day of payment depends on the characteristics of each beneficiary.
