United States retirees who want to get a new Social Security payment on the upcoming 15th of November must meet two requirements. In this regard, only a particular group will be able to collect the benefit on this day, so the rest will get their payment on different days.
The complete November payment schedule is already available. This means that if you want to know when your Social Security check will be paid just check this calendar. However, many retirees do not know that the Administration sends up to 4 different payments and that beneficiaries can only access one of them.
In this way, the Social Security Administration sends payments in a staggered schedule to all beneficiaries. Whether each check is received earlier or later depends on the beneficiary’s personal information. Each new month there is a new payment schedule that we can know in advance.
If we know which group of retirees we belong to, it will be much easier to recognize the exact day on which we will receive the benefit each month. While it is true that there is a scheme to follow it is also true that there may be some irregularities.
WHO WILL NOT GET THE 15TH OF NOVEMBER SOCIAL SECURITY?
Retirees who are part of 3 different groups will not be able to get next day’s check. However, there is one group that will get the next 15th benefit. In this regard, these are the groups that will not be able to collect the next payday check:
- Pre-1997 retirees.
- Post-1997 retirees with a birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month.
- Post-1997 retirees with a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month.
This means that beneficiaries in groups 1 (pre-1997), 2 (post-1997 with birthdays 1-10) and 4 (post-1997 and birthdays 21-31) will get their payment on a different day. Group 1 cashed their check last November 3rd.
On the other hand, Social Security for group 1 beneficiaries was on November 8th and group 4 retirees will get their benefit on the 22nd of this same month. This will be the last group to get payment, so after this check you have to wait until December to collect a new one.
Therefore, the payment on the 15th of November is the payment for group 3 retirees. And retirees in this group have the following requirements:
- Have a retirement benefit after 1997.
- Have a birthday between the 11th and 20th of the month.
If you activate Direct Deposit as a payment method, the money will appear immediately in your pocket. But if we do not activate this payment method, we will have to wait about 3 days to be able to use the Social Security check.
