In order to have the best possible organization in a United States household with a Disability check, it is good to know on what day the Social Security Administration sends each check. The Administration’s retirement payment schedule always follows a schedule that is very easy to know.
Knowing this schedule of disability benefit payments makes organization much easier. So we just have to keep in mind which will be the payment days and, of course, which are the requirements of each day to get the monthly benefit. Also, this year’s April payment is higher than last year’s April payment.
Who gets the Disability payment for the next few days?
The last of the April Disability payments will be on the 24th of this month. After this payment there will be no new Social Security payments before May. So if we do not have the payment by that day we will have to claim it from the Administration.
But we must keep in mind that there are two requirements to get this benefit. On the one hand, it is mandatory to have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of the month. On the other hand, it is also mandatory to have had the Social Security benefit as of May 1997.
In this way we could obtain the payment for this 24th day of the month. The Social Security Administration not only pays Disability checks on this day, but also pays other benefits such as old age retirement or widow’s and widower’s benefits.
What can I do to claim my late Disability check?
In the event that you do not have access to the April 24th payment, it means that your Social Security check is overdue. This month’s Disability payments end next week, so we need to claim your check as soon as possible.
You have two options for claiming it. The first option is to talk to your bank. The bank can sometimes withhold payment of our benefit for many different reasons. Therefore, we must claim the payment from the bank to verify that it has not withheld the benefit.
If the bank is unable to help us in this regard, we should contact the Social Security Administration. Only if the bank does not know what has happened to our disability check should we contact the Administration.
