Social Security announces the new calendar payment for April

Who receives the $4,555 payment on April 3?

Social Security Disability benefits next paycheck will not arrive to these groups of americans

Social Security checks arrive each month at homes in the United States on different days. As a rule, the schedule of payments is announced by the Social Security Administration well in advance. This allows families to have the best possible financial organization.

However, there is a fundamental aspect to be considered in all of this. The days that the Social Security Administration announces are the days on which they send out payments. This does not mean that retirees receive checks on that same day. They are two very different things, as some pensioners think they will not receive a month’s payment because they did not receive it on the day it was mailed.

Depending on the method of collection, retirees may receive both Social Security and Supplemental Security Income payments earlier or later. In order to receive it earlier, we must check both the day of the payment and the payment method we have activated. What is your favorite method of collecting Social Security checks?

Receive your March Social Security checks immediately

In order to know on what day we will receive our Social Security checks immediately, we need to know the monthly calendar. On these days in March the Administration will be paying retirement checks.

  • March 8th. Payment of retirement checks to pensioners born between the 1st and 10th of the month.
  • March 15th. The Social Security Administration sends checks to pensioners with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of March.
  • March 22nd. Last day of payments for the month of March with respect to retirement pensions. This payment is only for retirees born between the 21st and 31st.

With this in mind, we must take into account another aspect. In order to receive the Social Security check immediately, we must activate Direct Deposit. Once we activate this collection method, we will not have to wait even one day to be able to have the payment in our pocket. It is totally immediate and we will avoid delays of all kinds.

Other March Payments

In addition to the retirement benefit payments, the Social Security Administration sends two other payments in the month of March. This means that some pensioners may have as many as 3 different payments in this month.

These two other payments are Supplemental Security Income payments, which are checks intended for pensioners and users with disabilities who have a low source of income. The days on which Social Security sends these payments are on the 1st and 31st of March. The second of these checks is actually for the month of April.
