The June Social Security payment schedule is about to begin. This means that All United States citizens can know in advance at what time of the month they will be able to get their new retirement check.
Still, not all Americans collect their check on the same day. In order to determine at what time of the month we will have the money available we have to know which group we belong to. And the next of the groups to get Social Security money will be group 1.
Beneficiaries collecting the new Social Security for June
The payment of this check will be only for group 1 and the collection day will be on the 3rd of this month. But in order to have this month’s check accepted it will be mandatory to meet two requirements. As soon as we see that we meet these requirements, we can mark June 3rd as the day to get the money.
The requirements to be part of group 1 and collect Social Security on the 3rd day of June are as follows:
- Have a retirement benefit since before May 1997.
- Have Direct Deposit activated.
Actually, this second requirement is not mandatory to be part of group 1, but it is necessary if we want the check to arrive when the Social Security Administration sends it.
The other groups of retirees will get their payments on different days. So be sure to check the other payment days to make sure you know when in the month you will have access to your retirement money.
Remaining Social Security payments in June 2024
After the June 3rd payment day, Social Security beneficiaries who are not part of retiree group 1 can also get their monthly payment. To do so, they should look closely at the specific collection day.
The remaining Social Security payment days in June will be:
- June 12th. Payments for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- June 18th. Payments for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month.
- June 26th. Payments for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of the month.
In addition to that, it is also indispensable to have the benefit since after May 1997. With that in mind, we can now mark on the payment calendar on which day we will have our June Social Security money available regardless of the type of benefit or amount.
