In any of the States of the United States, Social Security users receive their benefits on the assigned days. Thanks to the calendar that the Social Security Administration itself publishes at the beginning of each year, we can know the exact day on which our pension will reach our pocket. Users are always divided into three groups, those born from the 1st to the 10th, those born from the 11th to the 20th and those born between the 21st and 31st. Finally, beneficiaries born between the 21st and 31st of the month collect their benefit on the 23rd of November.
In addition, there is also a Supplemental Security Income payment. Through this payment, the Social Security Administration sends extra money to the neediest people. The intention of this payment is that all Americans can have access to the money they need to pay their bills. The Supplemental Security Income payment is always made on the first day of the month. This is true every month, although there is one exception. If the 1st of the month is a weekend or holiday, the payment is sent on the immediately preceding business day. In November there are no problems, so SSI recipients will receive their benefits tomorrow.
How to receive your Social Security payment fast?
There are several ways to receive your Social Security payment and some are faster than others. Specifically, we are going to look at two ways, the most usual in these cases:
- Bank account deposit. This is the most commonly used. Usually, Americans who have a Social Security pension receive their payments through the bank. It is a safe method, but the subsidy can take up to 3 days to appear.
- Direct Deposit. This is the fastest method of collecting the subsidy. With Direct Deposit, seniors automatically receive the money so they can use it. Plus, you don’t need a bank account to collect Social Security.
You can choose the method you like best, but don’t forget that on November 9th, pensioners born between the 1st and 10th of the month will receive their Social Security benefit.
