The Social Security Administration always displays the schedule of pension payments for both retirees and people with disabilities in the United States. This schedule is never changed, with very rare exceptions, so knowing the day a retiree will collect his or her benefit is quite simple. This helps Social Security seniors have complete control over their finances. Despite this, it is not advisable to rely solely on SSA payments as a source of income.
However, if you want to know exactly when you will receive your Social Security payment, all you need to know is your date of birth. By using your birthday, you can find out the day you will receive your pension. Social Security payments are sent on the second, third and fourth Wednesday of the month. Therefore, on one of those days you will be able to receive your benefit. It depends, as we have already mentioned, on the date of birth.
In this regard, there are 3 groups of Social Security beneficiaries. The first group belongs to retirees born between the 1st and 10th of the month. The second group is for pensioners with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month. Finally, the third group is for pensioners born between the 21st and 31st of the month. Knowing this information, it is very easy to know the day on which a pensioner will receive his or her Social Security.

In order to receive the benefit directly, we can activate the Direct Deposit. On the other hand, if we do not have this option activated, the Social Security benefit may take up to 3 days to appear in our bank account. If it takes more than 3 days, it is possible that there is a problem, so contact your bank to solve it.
