Any of the users with disabilities who are entitled to United States Social Security benefits could receive up to 3 different checks in the month of March. Due to an irregularity in the calendar, a U.S. citizen may receive 3 different checks on different days in the month of March. Starting with the 1st and ending with a check on the 31st of the same month.
In order to receive these checks, certain requirements must be met. Not all citizens can receive these money in the same way. First of all, the user with a disability must have an accepted pension. Apart from this, other requirements must be met. With an accepted benefit you will only get 1 check in the whole month, unless there are other different exceptions.
Users with disabilities who have an accepted Supplemental Security Income money in addition to the Social Security pension will receive three different checks. But watch out in this regard, as having such a big change in the schedule can cause problems in the next month.
When will I receive my three Social Security checks in March?
As we discussed earlier, a disabled pensioner who has Supplemental Security Income accepted will receive 3 different checks. On these days you will be able to receive all of your benefits, depending on your date of birth.
- March 1st. First Supplemental Security Income check in March. This payment is for the month of March itself.
- March 8th. Pensioners born between the 1st and 10th of the month receive their pension money on this day. It does not matter if the pension is for disability, age or some other reason.
- March 15th. The Administration pays Social Security checks to retirees born between the 11th and 20th of the month.
- March 22nd. Last check for disability or age pension. This is for pensioners with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of the month.
- March 31st. This day’s payment is for Supplemental Security Income users. Actually, this payment pertains to April 2023.
Since the last of these payments does not really belong to the month of March, we have to watch out for our finances. Receiving an extra Social Security check in March means receiving one less in April. Therefore, we must take this into account if we do not want to have problems with the money for next month.
In addition to this, we could also receive our Tax Refund check if we have already sent the Tax Return to the IRS. The Internal Revenue Service has already started paying the checks for the Tax Refund, so we could have another payment in March.
