Next week will be a good week for thousands of United States citizens who are waiting to get SNAP Food Stamps from the USDA. This benefit has a peculiarity with respect to the other benefits, and that is that each State independently manages the day on which the checks are sent. Thus, a beneficiary with this benefit in California may get payment on a different day than another beneficiary living in Texas.
So we must pay attention to the payment days of these SNAP Food Stamps benefits, as they can greatly change the monthly organization of each American. Knowing the day on which we will get the payment of up to $281 per person is a relief for your beneficiaries. This way, we can organize the day of the purchase and get everything under control.
Each and every SNAP Food Stamps check goes to the EBT card. Therefore, having all the time controlled the balance of money we have on this card is crucial if we do not want to have financial problems in the near future. However, some Americans will have to wait longer than others, so take a good look at the calendar and check to see what day of the month you might get a check.
SNAP Food Stamps upcoming payments calendar
Although in the calendar below you will find states that have already started to send checks, it could be that they have not yet sent several of them. For that reason we may find that State still on the calendar. The start of SNAP Food Stamps payments is almost always the 1st of the month, although sometimes it is not.

And the last working day of the month is usually the last day on which the States send this benefit, but it is not always 100% every situation this way either. Let’s look, therefore, at the States that might send payments starting next week:
- Alabama: January 4-23
- Delaware: January 2-23
- Florida: January 1-28
- Georgia: January 5-23
- Indiana: January 5-23
- Kentucky: January 1-19

- North Carolina: January 3-21
- Ohio: January 2-20
- Tennessee: January 1-20
- Texas: January 1-28
- Washington: January 1-20
States that are not on the list have already sent all payments. Even so, it is possible that some recipients living in those States have not yet gotten the money, and the payment could be on its way. If you want to make sure whether you have the money available or not, just check your EBT card balance.
If your money is taking longer than expected, you should claim the payment from the USDA or your State Administration. The sooner you claim the payment the sooner you will be able to resolve any problems related to these SNAP Food Stamps payments.
Once you have the money available, you can use it without any problems in any of the participating establishments. Remember that some restaurants also accept these checks, although most of them do not. In addition, we will not be able to buy anything with this SNAP money, since there are limitations and restrictions in this regard, such as food for animals.
