The Social Security Administration will send out two more new Disability payments before the end of March. These two new payments are for two unique groups of Americans, so if you have an SSDI benefit in the United States you may be able to get this check.
In total, there are two checks remaining, although we will only be able to get one of them. Remember that, unless an exception is made, retirees can only get one check per month. However, in the case of having a Supplemental Security Income benefit, Disability beneficiaries get two checks.
Even so, the important thing in these cases is to be clear on what day of the month we will get our payment. If we know this information, we will be able to organize our personal finances in the best possible way. Otherwise, we will not be able to know well the day in which we collect the Disability check. And this could become a problem for our family.
Upcoming Disability payments for the month of March
Before the end of March, the Social Security Administration will send out two more disability checks. On the one hand, the 20th of March will be the next payment. On the other hand, March 27th will be the last payment day for retirees for the current month.
In order to collect the March 20th payment, it is necessary to have the benefit since after 1997. If our check is from May of that month onwards, we meet the first requirement. The second requirement is to have a birthday between the 11th and 20th of any month.
The March 27th payment shares the first requirement with the March 20th payment. But in addition to having that requirement, Disability beneficiaries must have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month to get that payment.
After March 27th, we will have to wait until April to get a new check from Social Security. Remember that any retiree who meets these requirements will have access to the check regardless of the type of benefit. So it is not mandatory to have a disability benefit, but any other type of retirement benefit will do.
