When the Social Security Administration announces the schedule of payments for United States retirees we can mark on the calendar at what time of the month we will have the money available. However, sometimes there may be delays in these payments.
There may also be days when we get the payment earlier than usual. What we should always be aware of is irregularities. If there are irregularities, we have to be attentive to the day on which Social Security sends the check. It may be on the usual day or on a totally different day.
Likewise, we also have to look at what are the requirements for each of the collection days. The conditions for getting the money depend directly on the year of retirement and the day of birth. So both elements are key to mark on the calendar the day on which we get Social Security.
Who will collect Social Security on June 18th?
The Social Security check, which can be for $2,500, $4,873 or anything in between, will appear on June 18th in the checking account of Group 3 retirees. If you are part of this group, this check will be for you. If not, you need to look at the complete June retirement payment schedule.
To be part of group 3 we must fulfill two conditions. On the one hand, it is necessary to have a retirement benefit, disability or any other reason since after May 1997. If we meet that requirement, then we also have to take into account the day of birth.
This second requirement is to have a birthday between the 11th and 20th of any month. In this way, neither the year of birth nor the month of birth will matter. The important thing is to have a birthday between the 11th and 20th of any month of any year.
By fulfilling both requirements we will be able to obtain this benefit, regardless of the amount we get. So we will have the money available on that day if we activate Direct Deposit or in the following days if we do not have this collection method active.
