If we take into account the full United States Social Security payment schedule, tomorrow is the last day of remittance. This means that after tomorrow’s payment there will be no new payments in the month of March.
After the check on the 27th day of March we will have to wait until April, at the earliest, to get one of these benefits again. If we have already gotten Social Security in March, tomorrow’s payment will not be for us.
But if we did not get a Social Security payment this month, it means that we belong to group 4 retirees. And this group always collects its benefit, with some exceptions, on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
How do I collect Social Security tomorrow?
Tomorrow’s Social Security payment belongs to group 4 retirees, as we have already advanced. And we only need to meet two requirements to be able to collect this benefit. However, meeting these two requirements does not guarantee that we will collect the benefit on the same day it is sent.
We must know that the day the money is sent must be separated from the day on which we get the pension money. This is not only the case if we have activated Direct Deposit. This collection method makes the money appear at the moment when the Administration sends it.
To be part of group 4 of retirees we have to have our birthday between the 21st and 31st of the month. But this is not the only requirement. In addition to that, we must also have the retirement benefit as of May 1997.
How to claim an overdue retirement payment?
In the event that we have not gotten the payment from Social Security and we do not belong to group 4 retirees we have to claim the check. And it is that the rest of the retirement payments have already been sent.
In order to claim the retirement payment we have two ways available. On the one hand, we have to claim it from our bank. Sometimes, the bank may withhold the payment for various reasons. Thus, if the bank has withheld the money we have to know why and fix the situation with the entity.
If the bank does not know what has happened to our retirement money, we should contact the Social Security Administration. The Administration itself will be able to tell us if there is a problem with our check.
