Get two April Social Security payments
There are just a few steps to follow to meet the requirements for collecting two April Social Security payments. Of course, if you don’t meet all of them, you won’t be able to get two checks. It is also possible to get only one of these checks without any problem.
These are the requirements and the days on which you can get two payments in April. Remember that you can get only 1 of each category.
- Category 1. Supplemental Security Income. In order to get this payment you must have low resources and be 65 years old or have a disability. The payment will be made on April 1st.
- Category 2. There are several groups within this category. Each of the groups can get the benefit for Disability, retirement or other reasons.
- Group 1. Payment on April 3rd. This check is for pre-1997 retirees.
- Group 2. This group gets Social Security on April 10th. Only post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th are paid on this day.
- Group 3. This group gets Social Security on April 17th. Only post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 11th and 20th receive collection on this day.
- Group 4. This group gets Social Security on the 24th day of April. Only post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 21st and 31st collect on this day.
