One of the things that are most striking about the United States Social Security payments is their remittance schedule. It is very easy to know at what time of the month we can always have the benefit money available.
Since the Social Security Administration publishes the payment schedule every month, just looking at the schedule is enough to organize our finances. In the case of having this benefit as the only income, it is important to know all these data.
However, there are times during the month when a group of retirees have already collected all their benefits. This means that from that moment onwards you will not be able to collect one of the new benefits.
If you are part of that group, a new check will not be available to you in March. In other words, you will have to wait until next March if you want to get a new Social Security payment. Because the organization of these checks is very schematic, knowing the calendar is really important.
What groups cannot get new Social Security payments in the near future?
The new Social Security payments are for groups that have not yet gotten their retirement check in March. What’s more, just today the Administration will be sending out new checks to a specific group of Americans.
But today’s payment aside, we should note that there are retirees who can no longer get a new benefit until April. This group of retirees is the United States beneficiary group 1.
And to be part of the group 1 beneficiary group we simply have to have the Social Security benefit accepted prior to May 1997. All those who have had a check since before that date will not be able to get a payment in the next few weeks.
The Social Security Administration sent the payment to this particular group on March 1st. So now you know that if your benefit is prior to that year, you should have a check by today, but you will not get a new one this month.
