The Social Security Administration sends out the last of the month’s Social Security Disability Income payments today, July 26. This check is only for eligible beneficiaries in the United States. Two main conditions must be met in order to receive the payment.
The two conditions are as follows:
- Have retirement since after 1997.
- The Social Security Disability Income beneficiary’s birthday must fall between the 21st and 31st of the month.
It does not matter the month of birth to determine if we will receive a check on this day or not. The only thing that matters is the exact day of birth. Also, the year of retirement is key. This is because pre-1997 retirees receive their benefit on the first check mailing of the month.
If we have determined that the payday is July 26th for us and we do not have Social Security Disability Income, we must claim it. To do this, the first thing we can do is contact our bank.
Most of the time, delays in payments are due to problems with the bank. The bank can hold our money for many reasons. So before taking any other action, we should contact the bank.
Only if the bank does not resolve the delay with the Social Security Disability Income should we contact the Social Security Administration. To do this we can go to a local office or call them by phone.
