The Social Security Administration not only sends retirement and disability payments to eligible users in the United States. This other payment from Social Security is called Supplemental Security Income and your beneficiaries will be able to get it very soon.
Every month, the Social Security Administration sends one of these checks to users who have SSI accepted. This means that users with this check can enjoy it on a monthly basis, just as they do with retirement checks. What is the next Social Security SSI payment?
To find out the exact date of the payment of this benefit, it is necessary to go to the Social Security calendar. If we check the dates we can see that February 1st is the next day on which users with an SSI benefit will enjoy the check. This will be the case as long as the user has Direct Deposit activated.
If this payment method is not activated, it is possible that the money may take up to 3 days to appear. Currently, there are only 2 ways to receive Social Security payments. These two methods are Direct Deposit and bank deposit. It does not matter which method we choose, as both are secure methods, but one is clearly faster than the other.
SSI payment schedule in 2023
The upcoming payment on February 1 is not the only payment Social Security will send with respect to the 2022 Supplemental Security Income. In addition to this payment, each month the SSA will send a new check to all those citizens who are eligible for the benefit.
Usually, the payment is always made on the 1st of each month, but if that day is a holiday or weekend this is not the case. On these specific occasions, payment is made on the immediately preceding working day.
The months with this exception in 2023 are January, April, July and October. The Social Security Administration will not send the SSI payment on the 1st of these months, but will send it on the last working day of the previous month.
Other Social Security Payments in February 2023
In addition to this SSI payment, the Social Security Administration will send other payments to various groups of retirees. These are the days on which benefits will be paid.

- February 15th.
- February 22nd.
On each of these days, the Social Security Administration will send payments to a different group of retirees. There are three groups. Retirees born between the 1st and 10th, pensioners with birthdays between the 11th and 20th and the last group of retirees born between the 21st and 31st of the month. Each of these pensioners collects his or her benefit cheque on one of the Wednesdays mentioned above.
