The days of being able to apply for a new stimulus check throughout Los Angeles County have already begun. In the United States, this guaranteed income program will send a check for $1,000 per month to eligible citizens. As of now, any citizen can send in the application to see if they will have one of these stimulus checks in the coming months.
The application time will be extended until next month. However, there is no need to wait too long to send in the application. The deadline day is July 3 at 11:59 p.m., so watch out if you want to apply for this stimulus check. This income is good for a large number of Americans, as it will grant $1,000 per month to be used for what is most needed.
Already last year this program started sending $1,000 stimulus checks to a total of 1,000 citizens. Now 200 new citizens will join this campaign to receive this amount. There is no doubt that this is good news for Americans in need of these types of benefits.
Eligibility for the new stimulus check
In order to apply for this new stimulus check before July 3 at 11:59 p.m. we must meet several requirements. If we meet them, we will be eligible to receive a $1,000 check every month for two years. The original program was for 3 years, but since they have already sent checks for a full year the new citizens will only receive this money for the next two years.
In order to apply for this payment one must be at least 21 years of age. In addition, the applicant must not turn 24 before September 1 of this year 2023. It is also mandatory to have been in foster care by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services.
Beyond that, there are more requirements. Among them is having a family income at or below 100% of the median income. In the case of a family with more than one member, the percentage increases to 120%. Thanks to this new stimulus check, many United States citizens will be able to enjoy a good amount of money for two years.
