The next payment day for United States Social Security Disability (SSDI) beneficiaries will be June 3rd. On this day, thousands of SSDI beneficiaries will be able to enjoy a check for up to $3,822.
However, not only disability beneficiaries can enjoy this check. In addition to this group, many other different groups in the United States will also have access to the money. However, there is one requirement that must be met in order to get the check.
Eligibility requirements for the June 3 Disability Check
The June 3 disability payment will go into the checking accounts of group 1 retirees. And it doesn’t matter if the check is from SSDI or any other type of benefit. But it does matter what year the retiree applied for the Social Security check.
The only mandatory requirement in these cases is to have had the retirement benefit since before May 1997. This means that many of the current beneficiaries can enjoy this benefit without any problems. That alone is more than enough for the Social Security Administration to send a check.
Can I get Social Security Disability on June 3rd?
The requirement mentioned above is not to have a disability check on June 3rd. The requirement is for the Social Security Administration to send us the check on that day. Whether we get it on the same day or not depends on the collection method we choose.
If we have Direct Deposit activated as a collection method, the full check will appear in our checking account on June 3rd. This will be the same for all payments every month, since this collection method is instantaneous.
However, if we do not have this particular collection method activated, we will have to wait a few days until the money is available. The usual for Disability and other benefit payments is that it takes about 3 days for the check to appear in the current account.
