This week thousands of United States citizens will be able to collect a new Social Security payment. To be exact, tomorrow, March 13th, will be the day on which this new group of retirees will collect their new benefit.
However, not all Americans with an accepted retirement will be able to get the new check. In order to get this benefit, it will be necessary to meet certain requirements. If these Social Security requirements are not met, the payment will arrive on a different day in March.
By this, what we mean is that if we have an accepted Social Security benefit we will always get a check. No matter what group of retirees we belong to, we will have the money in our bank account each month. Do you know what day in March you will get your retirement payment?
Who gets Social Security in 24 hours?
In order to collect the new Social Security payment, two requirements must be met. These two requirements are the ones that make us group 2 retirees. So if you meet both conditions you will be able to get this benefit tomorrow.
This week’s payment day is March 13th. If we get this benefit it means that we meet the following requirements:
- Having applied for the retirement benefit since after 1997.
- You will have reached your birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month.
Only by meeting these two requirements will we be able to get this new benefit on March 13th. The rest of the beneficiaries will get their Social Security on different days. So check well the rest of the payment days if you are not within the group that collects your benefit tomorrow.
Remaining Retirement Payments in March 2024
After the March 13th payments, the Social Security Administration will pay other checks in subsequent weeks. In order to collect one of these payments we will have to belong to each of the established groups. These are the remaining days and requirements in March 2024:
- March 20th. Beneficiaries with birthdays between the 11th and 20th.
- March 27th. Beneficiaries with birthdays between the 21st and 31st.
In addition to these requirements, it is also necessary to have applied for the benefit after 1997. It is also important to keep in mind that if we do not have Direct Deposit activated, the Social Security money will not arrive on the same day it is sent, but a few days later.
