One of the most striking features of the United States SNAP Food Stamps payments is their timing. The peculiar organization at the time of sending payments that this benefit has is very different from other types of benefits. Therefore, we must be familiar with this payment schedule in order to know on which day we could collect each new check.
Also, the payments of this benefit are very different depending on the State in which we live. In terms of the amount, it is true that all States send a maximum payment of $943. But the organization in the schedule of payments is totally different. So if you haven’t gotten your SNAP Food Stamps check yet, it must be because you live in one of these states.
Most states have already paid all of the SNAP Food Stamps checks, so it’s possible that the money is already on the EBT card. But if it hasn’t arrived yet and you live in one of these states below, don’t worry. The money could show up as late as the end of this week, so there’s still time to get it.
States sending SNAP Food Stamps coming soon
The SNAP Food Stamps payment schedule has ended in all but two states. Those two states are Florida and Texas. And the truth is that there is a possibility that they may have already sent out the checks. But the payment schedule has not yet been finalized, which means that there could be checks that have not been mailed.
These are the two states pending payments and the April deadlines:
- Florida: April 1 to 28
- Texas: April 1 to 28
The best way to find out if you have SNAP money available is to check your EBT card. If we look at the EBT card balance we will find out if we already have SNAP Food Stamps available. This is a very simple way to know our budget for the next few weeks.
There are several ways to check your EBT card balance and the easiest way is to go to a participating retailer. Also, in some of the United States there is an APP that allows us to see the balance of the EBT card to check if the SNAP Food Stamps is already available.
