When will IRS offices be open on Saturdays?
It should be clear that not all offices will be open every Saturday. Only a handful of IRS offices will be available to help citizens on Saturdays. Here is the list of days when IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers will be open on a special Saturday:
- February 11.
- March 11.
- April 8.
- May 13.
The office will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on this special day. So any taxpayer who needs help sending IRS documents will be able to facilitate the process thanks to these workers.
In addition, it is also important to note that these offices are not only open for tax returns, but also for any other type of tax related problem. So if you need to make an inquiry to the IRS you can check the list of open offices to find out if your nearby office will be available on a Saturday.
Date of the end of the tax season
The end of the tax season is getting closer and closer. The last day to send to the IRS our tax return will be next April 18th. So if you haven’t sent the documents yet you should already be thinking about doing it.
