United States retirement payments are sent out by the Social Security Administration on different days of each month. So those American retirees who have an accepted benefit should look at the schedule of payments to know the exact day on which they will collect each check.
The truth is that the payment schedule is usually very regular, but sometimes we encounter irregularities. However, there is nothing to worry about, since the moment we find an irregularity in the payment schedule, the Social Security Administration sends the check in advance.
The purpose of all this is so that beneficiaries do not get a check too late. That is why it is so important for beneficiaries to be aware of this payment schedule. And that’s because they may get their check early in some cases, so any Social Security retiree should keep the retirement check schedule in mind.
When does the new Social Security arrive and who gets it?
The average Social Security payment of $1,850 in June 2024 will be only for a specific group of Americans. Mind you, the amount does not change at all at what time of the month we get the payment. The elements that change this day are on the one hand the year of retirement and on the other hand the day of birth of the beneficiary.
And after the June 3rd payment, which will be the first one, we will have to wait until the 12th of the month to see a new check from Social Security. And the payments on this June 12th will only be for post-May 1997 retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month.
So if your birthday is between those days and your check is after that date, you’ll be able to enjoy the benefit in just over a week. Beneficiaries who do not meet these requirements will be able to get their Social Security check during the month, so we just have to wait a little longer. What is certain is that if you have a retirement check you will be able to have it available in June, sooner or later.
