The timing of SNAP Food Stamps payments is very unique from other benefits in the United States. Unlike Social Security payments, which are handled at the federal level, Food Stamps checks are on a state schedule. This means that those Americans who get a payment from this benefit will get the payment sooner or later depending on the state in which they live.
In this sense, living in Kansas or living in Iowa will cause the payment to arrive earlier or later. And within each state there are also differences with respect to payment days. Some Americans will get check earlier depending on their last name or date of birth. Therefore, we can say that there is a double filter when it comes to getting a SNAP Food Stamps check: depending on the state on the one hand and on the state’s own classification on the other hand.
Regardless of this, there are some states that send checks for almost the entire month. For this reason, it is important to know the payment schedule, as it can make life much easier. In case we are waiting for SNAP Food Stamps check we will have to look only at the calendar and check which are the payment days for the State where we live.
How do I get my SNAP Food Stamps payment this week?
In order to get this benefit payment this week we are going to have to live in one of the States that send out checks this week. If we live in one of these states we will be able to get the payment soon, so we need to keep an eye on our EBT card.

So in order to know for sure if we have SNAP Food Stamps money available, the best strategy is to check our EBT card balance. If the February check has been added to the balance, we already have the money available to use it in any of the participating establishments.
