Pre-1997 retirees
Next July 3rd, pre-1997 retirees will receive their new benefit. In the month of July there is no irregularity in the calendar, so this will be the payment day for this group of retirees.
Sometimes this 3rd day is a weekend or a holiday. In such cases, the payment will arrive on the immediately preceding business day. This happens more often than it seems, so pay attention to the calendar.
Social Security beneficiaries after 1997
The division made by the Social Security Administration for post-1997 retirees is into three different days. If we want to know on which day we will be paid if we are retirees after this year, we only have to take into account our birthday.
- 1ST-10TH. Retirees born between these days receive their check on the next July 12.
- 11TH-20TH. Any citizen born on these days who has a Social Security check will be able to receive their payment on the 19th of July.
- 21ST-31ST. Citizens born between these days will receive their benefits on July 26th.
And with this last day, the July payment calendar ends. After this last 26th day, you will have to wait until August to see a new check from Social Security.
