The June Social Security payment schedule is almost over. This means that within a week all United States citizens with a benefit should have a check in their pocket. If not, we may have to file a claim with the Social Security Administration to find out the status of our pensioner.
Still, the only important thing in these cases is to receive the money on time so we can use it for what we need. Whether it’s to pay bills, eliminate debt or organize our summer vacation, Social Security money is always welcome. These $4,555 maximum checks for age-based retirees are all about financial relief for American households.
And in just one week the Social Security Administration will no longer be paying checks to American retirees. This will be the case until just over two weeks later. There is nothing to worry about in terms of the end of payments, as in July retirees will once again receive their timely benefit.
Who receives the last Social Security payment for June?
Among the beneficiaries receiving the last of the June Social Security payments, there is one group in particular. This particular group must meet two main requirements. The first of these requirements is to have a post-1997 benefit. The second requirement is to have their birthday between the 21st and 31st of the month.
Therefore, it does not matter what the reason for retirement or the amount of the monthly Social Security check is. What is important in these cases is only these two reasons mentioned above. If we meet these requirements, the Administration will send us our check in just one week. To be exact, the 28th is the payment day of this last check of the month. And if we have Direct Deposit activated we will be able to enjoy the benefit on the same day.
Pensioner’s payments in July 2023
After this last payment in June, there is still one more payment, although it is an advance for the month of July. This means that next month’s Supplemental Security Income is sent within days of this month itself. In addition to that payment, there are a few more payments coming the following month:
- July 3rd. Pension payment to pensioners with a post-1997 pensioner.
- July 12th. First group of post-1997 retirees receive their check. This group consists of beneficiaries with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- July 19th. Post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month are paid on this day.
- July 26th. Last Social Security check mailed in July. This payment is for beneficiaries born between the 21st and 31st of the month. In addition to that, it is also mandatory to meet the requirement of having retirement since after 1997.
As you can see, within the month of July the Social Security Administration will only send out 4 different checks. Even though there is one check less than normal, the payments will arrive equally to all retirees.
