Getting a new United States Disability benefit check this week is possible. Although it may not seem so, since the Administration does not send out new checks until March 13th, the truth is that it is possible to get one of these payments.
To do so, we will need to meet certain requirements. If we meet them, the money will appear today or in the next few days in our current account. So keep an eye on these mandatory requirements if you want to collect the disability benefit money soon.
In case we do not meet the requirements, it is possible that we will be part of the groups that will get the money in the next weeks. Even so, each beneficiary will get a new check in March without any problems. The important thing is to be aware of the calendar so that we are always aware of the day on which we collect each disability check.
Which disability beneficiaries can get a new check?
Only those Americans who are part of group 1 retirees can collect this week’s check. In addition, it is also necessary to choose a specific collection method. Otherwise, the money will not arrive today, but will appear in the next few weeks.
Similarly, it is also possible that without choosing the right collection method the money is already available. To sum up, we must have had the check since before 1997, as well as not have Direct Deposit activated.
If both requirements are met, we will be able to collect the payment today or in the next few days. This is because the Administration sent this benefit on March 1st, but the payment only arrived immediately to the beneficiaries with Direct Deposit activated. The rest will receive the money today or in the next few days.
After this day’s payment, other checks will arrive in the coming weeks. The next payment will be on the 13th, although only for post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month. Another payment will be on the 20th and the last one on March 27th.
These last two Disability payments are also subject to the requirement of getting the benefit after 1997. Also, the birthday will determine whether we get the payment earlier or later.
Remember that by activating Direct Deposit you get the payment for Disability or any other type of retirement immediately. The payment schedule corresponds to the days on which Social Security will send it. Whether you get it sooner or later depends on the collection method you choose.
