Disability beneficiaries in this group will not be able to cash a new Social Security check

A new Social Security check is on its way, but a group of beneficiaries with a disability in the United States will not be able to get this next payment

You will not be able to get a new Social Security Disablity check in September if you do not meet the requirements

When a disability beneficiary looks at the United States Social Security payment schedule, he or she can find out on what day he or she will get his or her benefit. In the same way, it is also possible to find out if the payment has already passed.

Keeping this calendar in mind is essential if we want to have a good economic organization in the family. For that reason, it is necessary to keep in mind that after some days of the month certain disability retirees cannot get a new check.

As of today, there are two groups of Social Security beneficiaries who can no longer collect benefits. At least they cannot collect new disability pensioner benefits this month. There is another benefit, such as Supplemental Security Income, coming at the end of the month.

But we are talking about retirement pensions and one group in particular will not get a new check. This group will not be able to enjoy a new benefit until next month, so we need to keep an eye on what happens so we don’t have problems with money in the household.

WHICH GROUP CANNOT COLLECT A NEW SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY CHECK?

There is not just one group that cannot collect a new disability check in September, but two. To understand this we must understand how the Social Security payment schedule works.

The Administration divides payments into four different days. Of those four days there are two major groups. Those two large groups are pre-1997 and post-1997 retirees. All pre-1997 beneficiaries get their checks on the same day, usually the 3rd of the month, although in September it was the 1st.

The second group, post-1997 beneficiaries, is further divided into three different groups. Each of these groups is paid on the second, third and fourth Wednesday of the month, respectively. The next of the collection days is the third Wednesday of the month, i.e., September 20th. Therefore, the first two groups of the month will not receive a new benefit.

In short, the beneficiaries who will not collect a new check in September are pre-1997 disability retirees and post-1997 disability retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month.

Likewise, the next check on September 20th is for beneficiaries retired after 1997 with a date of birth between the 11th and 20th of any month.

Finally, another disability payment for Americans will arrive on September 27th. This other payment will be for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 21st and 31st who have applied for a Social Security check after 1997.
