The payment schedules for different benefits follow different rules in the United States and SNAP has its own paydays. Unlike the Social Security check, which follows a federal schedule, SNAP Food Stamps payments follow a state schedule. This results in SNAP recipients getting their check earlier or later depending on where they live.
Although it may not seem important at first glance, knowing the timing of payments matters a great deal. SNAP Food Stamps checks arrive on recipients’ EBT cards so they can buy fresh food, so knowing the time of the month when the money is available is very helpful.
Each state has its own calendar, so some states will send the payments in the next few days and other states will send the checks in the next week. We just need to take a look at the payment schedule to see if we will have the money available or not.

When a SNAP Food Stamps benefit reaches the citizen beneficiaries it appears on the EBT card. So just by checking the EBT card balance we will have enough information to determine if we can already use the benefit money.
