You receive a lot of notifications every day and miss some of them. Finding a discarded notification on an Android mobile, in previous versions is a real nightmare. However, with the latest updates you can now even review your Android phone’s notification history.
You will be able to see the full 24 hours of notification history. We find it optimal that it is only 24 hours, as if more would take up more space in the memory of the mobile phone. Take note as below we will explain step by step how to view your Android phone history.
How to view the notification history
The first thing to do is to enable the notification history. Go to the bottom of the notification screen twice and press the settings icon. It is located below the quick tiles section. When you are already in “Settings”, select “Notifications”.
It will take you to a window where you will need to enable “Notification History” by tapping the On/Off slider, until you leave it enabled.
Since you have just enabled the notification history, you will not see any entries in the list. But don’t worry, you will start receiving notifications and they will be logged.
Accessing the notification history
There are two methods to access the notification history of your Android phone. Both ways are very simple, but it all depends on the version you are using.
First method: Just scroll down once from your notification screen. Then swipe down again, right to the bottom of your notifications. You should now see the History button. After that select the aforementioned section to see the last 24 hours of notifications.
Second method: This method is not as easy as the previous one. The first thing you need to do is to go to your notification screen and scroll down twice. After that, tap on the settings settings icon. When you’re in “Settings,” find and tap “Notifications.” In the resulting window, tap “Notification history”.
