A specific group of United States citizens may be collecting a new Social Security check in this week that has just begun. While it is true that this is not the first of the March retirement checks, it is also true that many Americans are still waiting for their benefit.
However, not all citizens who are waiting for the new check can expect to get it in the next few days. It is important to know what the requirements are if we want to collect the payment on March 13th. On this day, only Americans who are part of group 2 will be able to collect the new check.
If we are not part of this group it will be impossible to get this new benefit. So pay attention to the requirements to find out if the Social Security Administration will pay us a benefit of up to $4,873 in just a few hours. And remember that depending on the collection method you will be able to enjoy the money on the same day it is sent.
Americans collecting Social Security on March 13th
The Social Security Administration sends a retirement check each month to 9 out of 10 people in the United States over the age of 65. This implies that within that group many will collect their new check on March 13th, that is, this coming Wednesday.
The only thing we must take into account for this is to comply with the established requirements. If we comply with them, the money will be ours within a very short time. If we do not meet them, we will have to wait a little bit to be able to get the money in the next payment days.
Even so, the most striking thing is that any type of retiree can collect the payment. It doesn’t matter if we are retired due to age, disability or any other reason. The important thing is to meet the requirements.
These requirements are:
- To have the benefit since after 1997.
- To be between the 1st and 10th of the month.
Being part of this group will cause the Administration to send us the payment on March 13th. However, in order to be able to collect the check on the exact day it is sent, we will need to activate Direct Deposit. This is the only way to have the Social Security money available on the same day of payment.
