The April payment schedule for United States Social Security beneficiaries is now available. This means that we can know at what time of the month we will get our new benefit. And this makes life much easier for thousands of Americans who are expecting to get their new payment soon.
Many retirees over the age of 65 collect only one Social Security benefit. In fact, 9 out of 10 Americans over 65 collect a retirement check. And a large portion of them collect only that benefit.
That’s why knowing your payday is so important. This is the only way we will be able to organize our household finances in the best possible way. And in the next week the Social Security Administration will send two different checks to eligible retirees.
So, if you meet some requirements you will be able to enjoy a check of up to $943 and another one of up to $4,873. Both maximum payments we will not be able to get, since the amount of one will depend on the amount of the other. But regardless of the amount, we can get both Social Security checks.
How do I get two Social Security checks in the next week?
The Social Security Administration will send out two different checks in the next week. These checks will be mailed on the 1st and 3rd of April. They are the first benefit payments for this month. To get them you will need to meet several requirements.
To collect the 1st payment, you must be a Supplemental Security Income recipient. This Social Security supplemental check provides a payment of up to $943 to your beneficiaries. To get it we need to be 65 years of age or older or have a disability. Likewise, it is also mandatory to have low resources and low monthly income.
On the other hand, April 3rd will be the Social Security payment day for group 1 retirees. This group of retirees is the one that has a retirement benefit since before May 1997. So if you meet that requirement you will be able to collect this check.
Remember that without Direct Deposit we will also be able to get the payments, but not immediately. In that case the money would not arrive in the same week, probably, but in later weeks.
