Retirees waiting to receive their July check from United States Social Security may now know on which day they will receive it. However, only one group of retirees will be able to receive one of these checks. The Social Security Administration sends out checks on different days each month. Each of these days is specially designed for one of the groups.
This way, when it comes time to send the checks, there are no problems of overcrowding or delays. In order to determine whether we belong to one group of retirees or another, all we have to do is check our personal information. On the one hand, the year of retirement is essential. On the other hand, the day of the retiree’s birthday is also key in determining the day of collection.
Best of all, the average check of $1,827 per month from Social Security is always sent without delay. It is very rare for the Administration to send these checks out of time. And it is thanks to this system of division into three groups that an ideal organization is possible. So find out if you are in the next group and see on which day in July you will receive your benefit.
Who receives the next Social Security benefit of $1,827?
As we discussed earlier, the $1,827 per month check is the average Social Security payment in 2023. This does not mean that every retiree will receive this check from the Administration. Some have a larger check and some will have a smaller check.
The amount depends solely on each retiree’s work history. In case you have not yet applied for your benefit and also want to calculate how much your Social Security will be you can use the calculator to get an approximation.
With all this said, the only thing left to note is the date of the payment and who will receive the money. The next Social Security payment will arrive on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. And this check is only and exclusively for retirees born between the 1st and 10th of the month. In addition to this, it is also indispensable to have applied for retirement after 1997.
In the case of having the benefit since before that year, the check will not arrive on a Wednesday of the month, but on the 3rd day of each new month. However, there may be exceptions to this rule.
After this payment, 62-year-old retirees could receive their check on the 19th or 26th day. If you were not born between the 1st and 10th, your Social Security check will arrive in the following weeks.
