The start of a new month is always good news for retirees in the United States who are waiting for their Social Security check. And collecting a new check with a payment of up to $4,555 is good news for any citizen of any country in the world. But in the case of United States Social Security beneficiaries, it is easy to know the day when they will cash this check.
Unlike other types of payments such as SNAP, for example, Social Security recipients can mark on the calendar the exact day they will get each month’s payment. This is a huge advantage, as it makes it much easier for retirees to have perfect organization regarding each month’s money.
The standard of living for a retiree who knows when they will cash their retirement check is much higher, as they can be in control of all their finances. Without a doubt, knowing these kinds of details is an advantage in every way. And if we add to that having the fastest active collection method, we can know the exact day and time we will get each monthly benefit.
The Social Security Administration announces in advance the day of these types of payments so that we can have everything under control. In this way, whether we are retiring at age 65 or 62 or even on disability, we will be able to know the day of the payment.
COMPLETE SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENT SCHEDULE FOR NOVEMBER 2023
Having a Social Security benefit that we can get every month is positive news, although it is true that sometimes payments could be delayed. However, we can now know all the payment days in the month of November. This means that even if the Administration has already sent several checks we can find out if we will get ours within a few days.
In case the check has already been sent and we have not gotten it, we should complain. To do so, the first thing we have to do is to contact our bank and ask if there are any problems with our payment. If the bank does not help us to know the full situation we should then talk to the Social Security Administration to see a possible solution to our problem.
Let’s take a look at the complete calendar for November so that you can find out when you will receive your benefit:
- November 1st. This payment is the Supplemental Security Income payment. If you have such a check you should have already cashed the payment on the first day of the month or in the days following.
- November 3rd. Retirees with the benefit since before 1997 got their check on this day.
- November 8th. Post-1997 beneficiaries with birthdays 1-10 of any month collected their Social Security on this day.
- November 15th. Every retiree, regardless of reason for retirement, post-1997 with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of any month will collect payment on this day.
- November 22nd. Last payment in November. This payment is exclusively for post-1997 beneficiaries with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of any month.
By activating Direct Deposit we will get the payment immediately. However, if we do not have this option activated, the Social Security money may arrive up to 3 days after the Administration sends it.
